Children of Mary/ Sodality

All the girls in our parish (Grades 1 to 12) are invited to join. These FREE programs run from September to May and provide the girls of our parish with an opportunity to come together to learn abouth their Faith and Culture as well as have fun swimming, bowling, Psanky (Easter Egg) writing, and many other events to help build friendships with other girls in our parish that will last a lifetime.

The Children of Mary (Grades 1 to 6) meet every second Saturday morning in the Cultural Centre from 9:00-10:00 AM with Sr. Patronella Dybka, SSMI and Liz Olynyk and the Sodalists (Grades 7 and up) meet once a month with Denise Lucyshyn to organize and set up various outreach projects in the parish and the community. Through these programs, the girls learn to model their lives after the Blessed Mother. In their classes they talk abaout the Lives of Saints and the Rosary. They have taken on a leadership role in the parish by leading the congregational singing at the 11:00 AM Divine Liturgy every first Sunday of the monthunder the musical direction of Denise Lucyshyn.
